In conjunction with the special exhibition Myths and Monsters: The Art of Fantasy in Asia and in celebration of M+’s 5th anniversary, this collection introduces two exclusive Godzilla prints that incorporate M+ elements into the design. One features Godzilla alongside the traditional Chinese calligraphy “Since 2021”, marking the year of M+’s opening, while the other depicts the King of the Monsters standing in front of the M+ Building, symbolising a shared celebration of this important milestone.
This exclusive Folder brings together two cultural icons: the silhouette of the 'King of the Monsters,' Godzilla, and the distinctive architectural profile of the M+ Building. By juxtaposing the classic film monster with Hong Kong’s landmark visual culture museum, the design creates a visual dialogue that echoes the exhibition’s exploration of how myths and monsters have transcended folklore to become vital symbols in contemporary visual culture.
Both functional and collectible, this folder brings monsters and popular culture into everyday documentation.
