New York-based artist Daniel Arsham explores the realms of fine art, architecture, performance, design, and film through his uchronic aesthetic. Centered around the concept of fictional archaeology, his multidisciplinary practice creates and crystallizes ambiguous spaces and situations, staging what he describes as "future relics of the present."
The Crystalized Charmander is Daniel Arsham’s second piece in the Crystalized Pokémon series. This edition is crafted from white cast resin and crushed crystal, and it is cast from a hand-sculpted Charmander created in Arsham Studio.
