Inspired by the local cultural elements showcased in the exhibition 'Design Ah! Experience the Wonder of Everyday Design', the M+ Shop introduces the 'Very Hong Kong' series designed by the M+ team, featuring five iconic characters inspired by Hong Kong's culture, including Lap Sap Chung, Lion Dance, Shumai, Piggy Bank, and Mahjong. From everyday city details to nostalgic local touches, this special series celebrates the spirit, energy, and creativity that make Hong Kong so unique and weave beloved Hong Kong memories into daily life.
Each blind box contains one randomly selected keychain design out of five characters — Lap Sap Chung, Lion Dance, Shumai, Piggy Bank, and Mahjong. Among them, Lap Sap Chung and Lion Dance are sound-activated: Lap Sap Chung says ‘Lap Sap' (Trash), while Lion Dance says ‘Sang Choi' (a festive phrase associated with prosperity), bringing an extra layer of fun. Together, they celebrate the city's diverse cultural identity and weave beloved Hong Kong memories into daily life.
